Vintage Jakob Bengel Bow Necklace with Petrol Blue and Chrome drop 1920-1930

Vintage/Antique Jakob Bengel 1920-1930s Bow Necklace in chrome with a petrol blue galalith and chrome ball pendant drop. It has a lovely herringbone flat chain link with 2 black glass beads.  In unbelievable condition little to no wear to the metal. It has a large bolt ring.  

Bengel was famous for his chain linking designs and this is another one of his finest.  You will see many of these elements in pictures in either of the 3 Jakob Bengel books.  (A new book has recently been published: https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Jakob-Bengel-Stiftung/dp/3897906953 )

Information

Bengel pieces aren’t signed, sometimes they may have a mark on the clasp ring which reads – ‘Guarantee’ or  Made in Germany, but that is as much as I’ve ever seen. I believe they did have swing tags, hence they were removed and thrown away before wearing.

Size: Necklace is 46cm (18.5″) end to end.

The width of the chain is 4mm

The pendant drop is 5.5cms

The bow width is 5.4cms

Condition: Excellent Vintage
