1920s Jakob Bengel Dress Clips

This Jakob Bengel pair of coral dress clips are set in a silver metal and are from the 1920s period. These Art Deco dress clips are in two different sizes and have a coral Galalith section. Galalith was a form of French/German bakelite and is screwed to the metal on the back.  They have strong sprung clips and would beautifully adorn a hat, jacket, scarf, blouse or wear on a chain as a pendant or on a torque.

Similar clips can be viewed in the Bengel Museum and in the Bengel books.

Size: Larger clip is  2 1/4″ long x 3/4″wide and the smaller clip is just under 1 1/2″ long x  1/2″ wide
