1950s Foil Lucite 3 row necklace. These beads are referred to as ‘end of day’ foil glass beads.  They are strung together with white pearlised lucite beads and aurora borealis crystal beads. The foil beads are fabulous with lots of rich colours overlaid on gold foil, I think these are older beads from 1930’s but constructed in the 1950’s using old stock.

Consists of three rows, original hook clasp. One bead in the outer row nearest to the clasp seems a little rougher than the others so may have a slight slice of glass missing, or could be the way the bead was manufactured, doesn’t show when worn only under an eyeglass.

Length 18″ plus extension beads measuring 3″.

Looks fabulous on, wonderful for the summer.
